7N Group expands into Germany with acquisition of Contractor Consulting

Polaris has signed an agreement to acquire Contractor Consulting, a Munich-based IT freelancer staffing agency, with the intention of integrating Contractor into 7N Group, which is already owned by Polaris. The 7N Group consists of 7N and Globeteam, together forming a leading Northern European provider of premium IT consulting, staffing, and digital solutions.

The acquisition marks an important step in 7N Group’s strategic expansion, establishing a presence in Germany, Europe’s largest IT services market, and strengthening the Group’s position as the preferred partner for organizations seeking access to senior IT specialists and high-end expertise.

“The acquisition of Contractor is a natural continuation of our strategy to strengthen the 7N division’s presence in key European markets. Germany is an attractive and growing market that values quality, expertise, and long-term relationships. Contractor shares 7N’s freelancer-first mindset and commitment to matching highly skilled consultants with complex client needs,” says Rune Gornitzka, Partner at Polaris.

Contractor operates exclusively with senior IT freelancers and serves blue-chip and upper mid-market clients across financial services, automotive, logistics, and the public sector. Its strong local relationships, reputation for quality, and deep market knowledge complement 7N’s international reach and proven account management model. Over time, the partnership will also provide a platform for introducing the Group’s broader consulting and digital solutions capabilities to the German market.

“This acquisition accelerates our ambition to grow geographically while staying true to our premium positioning. Contractor gives us a credible entry point into Europe’s largest IT freelance market with a team that shares our values, client focus, and passion for quality,” says Sebastian Podlesny, Group CEO of 7N Group.

Joining 7N Group allows us to build on what we do best while gaining access to the scale, relationships, and global perspective of a leading Northern European IT partner. Together, we can deliver even greater value to our clients and consultants,” adds Patrick Berger, Co-Founder of Contractor Consulting.

Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.
